Aadarsh Mahila Mandal

Women empowerment, sustainibility, preservation of environment in rural areas

Aadarsh Mahila Mandal is a registered charitable society (under Societies Registration Act, 1860) working towards the upliftment of women and ensuring the promotion of overall welfare in the rural areas of Kanpur. AMM provides basic education to the underprivileged section of society, also promotes sustainability through preserving the environment and works actively towards advancement of the rural areas.

Every woman and child has adequate opportunities to get educated, become self-reliant and be culturally aware.

OUR MISSION

Aadarsh Mahila Mandal shall strive to empower and enable underpriveledged women and children in rural areas of India. We shall endeavour to provide education, financial aid, impart training and knowledge through several activities towards making women independent and self-reliant while creating a brighter future for the children.

We distributed several household utensils, Almirah and other useful materials to women who were not in a position to earn their livelihood. It helped them live a better day to day life.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

1. To raise and promote social, cultural, educational, humanitarian standards and help minorities and backward classes.

2. To establish and run primary, secondary, schools, colleges of Arts, commerce, science, management and vocational training centres.

3. To establish and run the hostels and boarding schools for boys and girls to promote literacy for rural children.

4. To provide scholarship and educational assistance to poor, marginalised and deserving students.

5. To establish and run libraries, hostels, schools, non-formal education classes, adult literacy and coaching classes for the promotion of education.

6. To establish institutions especially to support the cause of women education and empowerment.
