Founded in 1997, in Shimoga the NGO focuses mainly on Women and Children, Rural Development , Health and Community development with 5000+ beneficiaries.
About Us
Aasare Social Service Society
To help poor as much as possible, especially women and children and make them self reliant and bring them to the main stream of the society.
Established in 1997 in Shimoga district, the NGO works for rural viallges of Shimoga and Davangere, to name a few villages in Shimoga are Anewadi, Ayanoor, Holalur, Bedarahalli etc and some villages of Davangere are Belagutti, Arundi, Nyamati and Saratur . For the women empowerment the NGO has been conducting Tailoring classes, subsidy loan for Income generation activities and also Bank loan linkage has been facilitated. There are about 100 SHGs in this NGO. In the sector of Health it has been organising eye camps and regular health check ups for the rural people. During covid times it has given awareness, provided Masks and sanitizers of about 250nos and Food kits have been provided along with Rotary Club of Shimoga. For the Rural Development, Awareness of Government facilities, Toilet constructions, Cattle rearing awareness , Skill development awareness have been given to women and youth.. So far there are 5000+ beneficiaries.

To provide more programs in skill development for rural women and youth through various Government schemes and see that all the people get equal rights without any prejudice in the society.

The Ngo is approaching Zilla panchayat, Women and Child department and other Government organisations to provide trainings to the rural women and youth

State level NGOS Workshop
State level workshop was conducted for Ngos in Karnataka in Shimoga for 2 days from 9.01.20 to 10.01.20. The Ngos were given training in various aspects of Ngo and trained them about taking forward the NGO through various programs.

Furniture Distribution to Jnanodaya School
The Rotary Club distributed the Furniture to the School for the year 2018 -2019 in Shimoga where the school has classes from LKG TO 10TH STD. The school gives admission to students who are poor and needy and meritorius on concessional rates.
