Madya Parivarjana Shibira – De addiction camp

De addiction camp was organized in association with Dharmasthala Gramabhivridhi Yojana at Ashwini Hospital lead by Dr. Prakash S.Paltye of Dept. of Panchakarma. Alcohol addicts were admitted in hospital for one week and were subjected to yoga therapy, Meditation, Psychiatric and Family health care counseling, series of talk on Affect of Alcohol addiction on Health, Family and Social Life. This camp helped nearly 100’s of alcohol addicts to rehabilitate and bring them back to main stream of society
Eye checkup camp organized in Attimabbe higher primary School, Tumakuru

Eye is an important organ of Vision. Early detection of problems related to eye are vital for giving effective treatment. With intention of creating awareness about importance of vision to school going children Eye check up camp was organized in Attimabbe Higher Primary School and High School, Chikkapet Tumkur on 04 & 05 /01/2019. The camp was conducted by Dr. Nagaraja J.M., Dr. Suja Shridhar and Team. Talk on Vision and importance of Early detection of Ocular diseases was delivered followed by interactive session was conducted. More than 400 students were screened and given advice regarding eye care

Beat Plastic Pollution

On occasion of World Environment Day, “Beat Plastic Pollution”, “Go green” and “Plant Tree save earth” programmes were organized by Dept. of Dravyaguna lead by Dr.Deepa Nagaraja. The programme highlighted the dangers of plastic pollution, its affect on earth, ocean, animals and humans. Awareness on importance of growing plants and how the plants help to purify environment was demonstrated. Nearly 50 plants were donated to Marlur Higher primary School where students actively participated in plantation
