Baalya Trust

Baalya Trust is a nonprofit organization established in 2019. We work for underprivileged children and towards creating happier and healthier childhoods for more than 3 years. Our goal is to advance children's rights, especially those from Government Girijan Ashram School and other rural areas. Our area of operation is in Bangalore, Mysore(D) Karnataka.

We help difficult circumstances background children preserve a sense of childhood and develop their social skills through art, and recreational services.

Our Programs

Child protection

We aim to develop a local community engagement program that prevents children from being abused or exploited. Over a 3 year period, Baalya aims to incubate a program to equip communities with awareness, understanding of their situation, skills to mobilize themselves, and demand and monitor child protection.

With the collaboration of Scheduled Castes Welfare Division (SCWD), we organized child rights awareness program for government tribal school children at H.D. Kote, Sagur, Nanjanangud, Piriyapattan(Tq), Mysore(D).
