About Us

Sri Gaurasamudra Marikamba Devi Rural & Urban Development Organization(R)

To build a proper society by giving all the facilities to all deprived genders of all ages.

Established in 2014 under the Karnataka Registration of Societies Act, 1960, our NGO operates an old age home in Chitradurga, aiding deprived senior citizens from rural areas and extending assistance to destitute children across the district. Additionally, we actively promote women's empowerment through Self-Help Group (SHG) initiatives, striving to address various societal needs comprehensively in Chitradurga. Over the past decade, our organization has tirelessly dedicated itself to uplifting the needy, downtrodden, and afflicted individuals who have faced rejection from society and family for various reasons. We provide necessities such as food, clothing, and shelter to thousands in need, ensuring their well-being through dedicated volunteers equipped with identity cards to facilitate their duties effectively.
However, to sustain our efforts and continue our noble mission, we kindly appeal to the dependents of our organization for contributions, be it daily necessities, financial assistance for treatments, or any other form of support. As the timeless adage goes, "Kindness is the root of religion," we humbly request your helping hand in furthering our cause of community upliftment and welfare in Chitradurga.

OUR VISION

To create a compassionate and inclusive society where every individual, regardless of their background or circumstances, has access to essential care, support, and opportunities for a dignified life.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to uplift and empower marginalized communities, particularly the elderly, destitute children, and women, by providing comprehensive support services, including shelter, education, healthcare, and livelihood opportunities. Through collaborative efforts and community engagement, we strive to foster a culture of kindness, empathy, and solidarity, enabling individuals to lead fulfilling lives and contribute positively to society.

Our Programs

Achyuth Old Age Home

Our NGO is dedicated to offering free shelter and food to destitute individuals, particularly focusing on the elderly demographic. Through our relentless efforts, we have managed to extend our support to over a thousand elderly people who were previously without a home or means to sustain themselves. Our mission is rooted in compassion and a commitment to serving the most vulnerable members of society. By providing essential necessities such as shelter and nourishment, we strive to restore dignity and comfort to those who have fallen on hard times. Each person we assist represents a story of resilience and the power of community support. As we continue our work, we aim to expand our reach and make a meaningful difference in the lives of even more individuals in need.

Health Care

Our NGO is dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare support to impoverished individuals. Through various initiatives and programs, we offer medical services, including consultations, treatments, and medications, at little to no cost. Our aim is to ensure that everyone, regardless of their financial circumstances, has access to essential healthcare services. By addressing the healthcare needs of the less fortunate, we strive to promote overall well-being and create a healthier, more equitable society.
