Hongirana Samagra Grameenabhivruddi Hagoo Shaikshanika Samasthe (R)

We work towards the environmental development and towards the women empowerment.

Hogirana is a registered NGO under the Act of 1960, dated 14-05-2007. Our organization adopts many goals and objectives in both rural and urban areas with many initiatives from government and non-governmental organizations across Karnataka. Functionally, the organization has been implementing and collaborating with various departments and corporations in relation to social, educational, rural and urban development since the date of enrollment and has been successful in raising awareness of the various projects and facilities of the government for the development of economically backward classes in rural areas. Till now we reached 4000+ beneficiaries.

Distribution of Masks

A mask distribution program was conducted on 27-07-2020 at the Sriramanagar Primary School in Gangavati Taluk by the Teachers' Field Offices and the Home Rural Development and Educational Institute.Mr. Somasekhargowda Patil, BEO who participated as the chief guest of the program, said that the program would be implemented with effective coronary precautions for the children of government schools as there is little chance of them delivering the tuition school. Initially it said that children's interests should be facilitated along with bridge-based learning.Totally distributed 500 masks to the students.

Celebration of World Environmental Day

We celebrated World Environment Day at Koppal on 05th June.2020. This program was a major initiative towards environment protection.This is conducted every year in order to create awareness among people so as to how important is our environment to be healthy for today's as well as tomorrow's life.This program was seen a success towards the initiatives taken.

Awareness Program on Coronavirus

Awareness program for people who are suffering from coronavirus disease and locked up by poor laborers and housewives who are suffering from malignant disease Was delivered. The event was chaired by the organization's president, Sumangala Simpi. Dr. Veeranaika and Taluk, members of the Grama Panchayat, and the Vice-President and Officers of the Institute participated in this event. Manjunatha Nayaka,Chief of Staff of the Institute, addressed all guests attending the event and explained about COVID-19.Signs and symptoms of the disease, Symptom and spread, What precautions should be taken, Face masks, The social gap must wait, It is better to use a surgical mask instead of a regular mask, The best way to prevent air from entering the outside is good, Wash hands before touching your eyes, mouth and nose, When someone coughs, snores, goes away, Wearing a mask if you can't maintain a physical distance, do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth.

Distribution of masks

We distributed 3000 masks at Shri Ramanagar, Gangvathi Taluk, Koppal district on 28th March 2020. During the pandemic the most required was the safety aspect. In order to serve the ook society our organization this as an initiative towards the safety measures of the pandemic and distributed masks all over.

Distribution of Books

We distributed English dictionary and grammar books to Government school students at Lggalur village, Koppal district on 14th February 2020.A student's education is a very important aspect with respect to the today's world.In order to inculcate these things our NGO took a small step in distributing books for the school students.

Celebration of world against child labour day

We celebrated world against child labour day at Shri Ramanagar. This was a major celebration as a child's life should be of playful and a studyful life rather than a workoholic life. We had great pleasure in standing against this child labor and taking actions with respect to this.This program was seen a lot of encouragement, support and a great success.

Neighborhood Relief Program

Since many of the families in Karnataka have been flooded due to rain, thousands of families have gone to the Roads in the presence of all the officers of our organization at the time of the blast.With thousands of families in Karnataka being flooded due to rains, our organization has taken to the streets in the presence of all the officers of the organization in order to provide relief to the neighboring victims. Thousands of homes have been damaged by flooding across Karnataka. The fully damaged house is classified as A Category, Partially Damaged Houses are classified as Category B and Minor Homes are classified as Category C, the Government has decided to give A and B category homes as full scale houses with a compensation of Rs 20000. At that time, our organization was given as much money, clothing and food assistance as possible.

Awareness campaign on nutritional supplements

In several villages of Gangawati taluk of Koppal district, a public awareness campaign on nutritional supplements for nutrition campaigns was organized by the Hongirana Rural Development Institute and the program was chaired by taluk panchayat member Mohammed Rafi. Chairperson of the organization, Samangala B Simpi, Grama Panchayat members, officials of the department and officials of the organization were present.

Free Computer Training Program

Free Computer Training was provided by the Rural Development Educational Institute for interested unemployed students in villages coming under the Sriramanagar Grama Panchayat.Three months free Basic Computer Training Camp for young girls from our institute has been conducted for unemployed students around Sriramanagar Grama Panchayat. Candidates must have at least a tenth, PUC, Bachelor's degree, ITI, Basic Computer Applications and Training in Hardware and Network Administration, Candidates should be between 18 to 27 years of age, Free training for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes students Training was provided.

Green Service Planting Program in Rural Area

With our organization in many Gram Panchayats in Gangavati Taluk, non-Govt and Officers will come out to plant greenery every day in plant them in the every morning and in the evening. We working hard to raise awareness.Day by day, the climate is increasing with dryness, destruction of forest wealth and disappearance of wild animals. We mainly need water to drink, oxygen to breathe, forests to get these, forests are being destroyed by excessive deforestation. Others are the only survivors of life, giving each child the opportunity to grow a sapling, raising awareness about them.
