About Us
Janavikasa Foundation (R) Savanur
Janavikasa Foundation is a non-profit organization established in the year 2002-2003 under Karnataka Society Registration to create and spread social awareness, ending blind beliefs and conservatism which are prominent in society with the tool of education; and taking the children towards the pinnacle of education, health, and progress; thereby bringing about development on the social, economic and educational front. Today we undertake various programs and functions that are continued to be involved in meaningful, development-driven initiatives that distinctly impact the quality of life of the weaker sections of society, Safe caters to the need of marginalized children and youth as well.

Solar Energy Awareness
The importance and uses of Solar energy was explained to 30 SHG women at Ranebennur .Xerox machine, Cooking stove and Tailoring machines were operated using Soalr energy. Women were thrilled to know the importance of Solar energy14-Feb-2021
Arogya Shakthi program
A health awareness program was conducted for SHG women at Ranebennur . About 30 women were benefited by the program. A audio visual presentation was done to the women to make them understand about the importance of healthy life.08-Feb-2021

Copy writing distributed to the medleri village
150 notebooks and pens distributed to the saravanda primary school. Each children got 5 notebook one pen . place saravada village. Ranebennur taluk.10-Mar-2020
Computer Training
In the year 2017 -2018 we provided free computer training to underprivileged youth. They were trained by experts of the field who also provided them practical training for hands-on experience. More than 50+ youth availed this training10-Mar-2020
"Awareness program on agricultural online marketing"
In the year 2015-16, With collaboration with APMC, we conducted agricultural online marketing programs to the farmers at Ranebennur Taluk.10-Mar-2020
Awareness Program on Child Rights and POSCO
Awareness program was conducted to students of Savanur, Hirekerur and Ranebennur- various taluk of Haveri. The objective of the program is to create awareness on topics including services of child rights, and the POCSO Act.10-Mar-2020
Tuberculosis Awareness Program
We commemorated the "Tuberculosis Awareness Program" from 2017- 2018 to raise public awareness about the devastating health, social and economic consequences of TB, and to step up efforts to end the TB epidemic. More than 150+ awareness program was conducted through various means like home visit,jatha and etc10-Mar-2020
Seasonal Residential Bridge Course
Janavikasa conducts physical surveys with other government surveys to locate and identify out-of-school children. It convinces families to enroll out-of-school children in "bridge programs." It provides support to migrant laborers' out-of-school children to get basic education and helps bring them in mainstream schools in age-appropriate classes. The program guides and monitors the students' progress through evening tuition. Overall, the program aims to dent the vicious circle of poverty through education. Janavikasa Foundation designs programs on effective community mobilizing and engagement. It supports children through counseling and mentoring for general well-being and support in extracurricular programs. So far more than 140+ students are benifited by this program.03-Jun-2015
