The main objective of the ngo is to promote women through various vocational trainings and employment linkages.

The main programmes are vocational training on tailoring and employment linkages, bio diversity and conservation campaign, promoting rain water harvesting, formation and credit linkages.

To empower the economically backward people through various activities and skill development trainings.

OUR MISSION

To educate the significance of nature and Create awareness about the Environment and wildlife to the upcoming generation. To provide and encourage the skills and education for economically backward students. To advocate, encourage and guide positive health-seeking behaviours with special emphasis on physical, mental and social well-being for the needed ones.

Our Programs

Vocational Training on Tailoring and Employment linkages

Skill Training on Tailoring to the 180 women in cuddalore Districts and facilitating them to wage employments  and self employments. Linking them to Social welfare department and other departments schemes to get free sewing machines.

 

Bio diversity and Conservation Campaign

Conducted Awareness programs on biodiversity and conservation to the communities living in Cuddalore and Ariyalur Districts. Conducted environmental mapping exercise and create profiles of villages in cuddalore and Ariyalur Districts with the support of Tamilnadu Forest Department.

Promoting Rain water Harvesting

Promoting Rainwater Harvesting campaign in Cuddalore and Ariyalur Districts. It helped them to conserve more water also to solve the issue.

Formation and Credit linkages

Formation of Joint Liability Groups for women in Cuddalore and Ariyalur districts . 25 JLG were formed in each districts  with the support of NABARD and made credit linkages  to them. As an outcome of the credit linkages  40 women were benefited Rs 50,000/- each for crop loan and 36 Women were benefited Rs 50,000/- each for milch animal rearing. 76 women are doing their Agro based livelihoods and generating income out of it.

Tailoring training for women

To improve the skills of the women and make them dependent vocational training on tailoring has been started. It focuses on their financial improvement of the women of the community. The tailoring training program was designed to equip participants with practical skills in garment making, enabling them to pursue entrepreneurship or secure employment in the textile and fashion industry. The primary objective of the tailoring training program was to provide participants with comprehensive skills in garment construction, pattern making, and sewing techniques. he tailoring training program exemplifies the organization's dedication to providing practical and sustainable solutions for individuals seeking economic independence.

Rain water Harvesting

Rain water harvesting programme has started to preserve and conserve water. They were facing the scarcity of water in the village and this programme has helped them to solve the issue

Tree Plantations

Environmental conservation activities were conducted preserve and conserve the nature. Many trees were planted in an around the village.

Distribution of kits for cyclone affected people

Necessary kit were provided for the cyclone affected people in the district. All the needed nutrients and health supplements were distributed to the people.
