Food kits were distributed along with daily required items like Tooth brush, paste , soaps etc. at Shivamogga city to the helpless by Pooja Charitable Trust. This act of kindness will go a long way for the people in the city at this pandemic times.About 1500 people were benefited from this service of the NGO.

Covid Update

Due to the spread of corona virus in our country, informal sector workers loose their jobs and it became so hard for them to arrange even one meal for a day. Our team helped them by giving dry ration kit which included all the essentials.

Covid health Camp

When pandemic hit our country, vulnerable people start panicking because of less access to real and true information . Our team organised a health camp in rural areas where we checked their temperature, distributed sanitizers and made them aware about social distancing and various measures they can take to decrease the spread of corona virus.

COVID -19 Food relief service

During these testing times of COVID 19, Along with Corona Awareness Pooja Charitable Trust managed to provide cooked meals to shelterless and food kits to underprivileged in few areas of Shivamogga for more than 300+ people.

Celebrating womanhood on International women's day in Mandya and Shivamogga

We organized a big congregation in Shivamogga on behalf of International Women's Day. The program was organized with a motive to apprise the women about their rights and justice by displaying the banners and slogans. Collaboration with various women’s organizations we held a rally to celebrate International Women’s Day in Mandya. The Women in the rally were demanding justice against crime and gender-equal society. More than 2500 women were part of this program

Sustainable and livelihood program in Chittanahalli

To promote the use of solar energy and to empower women, solar roti making machines and xerox machines were distributed to women SHGs of Chattnahalli, Shivamogga district. Around 20 women were benefitted by this program.
