SRDS was founded in 1998, this 23 yr old NGO is been functioning in the Bidar district in various operational villages like Honnavar, Bhalki, Aurad taluk. The NGO has done lot of activities in Water shed programme, Currently the main focus of the NGO is Women and Child development. There are about 800 SHG groups with 15 to 20 women in each group. Skill development activities have been done like embroidery, paper bags making , candle making and beautician courses. Motivational programme is part of the NGO activities. During Covid awareness has been given to the rural society in various ways. Vaccination drive has been taken as a priority in villages. There are about 10k to 15K beneficiaries in 23yrs of journey of the NGO..
