Surya Education Welfare Society was established in 2007 by seven people. Having a glance its part; it has worked in moreover all the blocks of West Singhbhum, Giridih, and Ranchi districts. Its main grounds of concern are women empowerment, entrepreneurship training, vocational training and skills, sanitation and personal skills, and moreover making civilians of even the remotest areas aware of their fundamental duties and rights and getting exposed to their social skills. It has been a part of several significant programs like Rajiv Gandhi Kishori Shashaktikaran Scheme 'SABLA' under which Jeevan Kaushal, Sakhi Saheli, Nutrition Health and Hygiene, Kishori Diwas, Vocational Training, etc.

It aims to generate awareness of the significance of personal cleanliness and sanitation. Cleanliness and hygiene during menstruation are its major approaches. In nutshell, it focuses on an empowered India. activities for that the organization also takes initiative to conduct various co-curricular students in government schools.

Recently, a drawing competition on the theme 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' was organized at Pandra Primary School, Ranchi.

The organization also provides training to artists periodically and helps them in selling their products through exhibitions.
