About Us

Ugama Chethana Trust

Ugama Chethana Trust is a non-profit organization established in 2019. We are enlightening the lives of tribal communities and needy ones by providing meaningful education support to less privileged children, empowering women, and rendering healthcare services.

Our Programs

Tribal Welfare

We organized livelihood programs for tribal communities and took socio-economic measures to uplift them.

COVID-19 Support

During the COVID-19 crisis, we considered the needs of low-income and unemployed communities, UCT has organized food & essential goods distribution (rice, lentils (dal), potatoes, onions, vegetable oil, biscuits, and soap) to low-income families, like day labor, rickshaw drivers, and poor people. 50 needy families in Mandya(D) received the products.

Kannada Rajyotsava Celebration

We celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava with our team members. Mrs. Priya Ramesh hoisted the flag, spoke about the importance of the day, and shared the values and culture of Karnataka.

75th Independence day celebration

This year we celebrated with great enthusiasm in the Anganwadi center where with patriotic songs independence day is celebrated. Sweets were distributed to the children. Special food was arranged in the afternoon. Ten children and three staff participated in the celebration.

Mother's Day Celebration

UCT organized a program to celebrate Mother’s day with the kids enrolled in an NGO for education in the Baburayanakoppal area of Mandya (D).

While the children present in the program have prepared greeting cards dedicated to their mothers to mark the Mother’s day celebration.
