An integrated approach to build a equitable and empowered society

Mission & Vision

OUR VISION

We envision a society in which all children, especially poor children have access to opportunities and entitlements to realize their full potential.

OUR MISSION

To promote integrated and sustainable solutions for the overall educational development of poor children.

Our Programs

Child Labor School

We have started Child Labor School with our own resources and donors' support.
We provided the following services to mainstream the children.
* Accommodated child laborers in comfort and with suitable shelter facilities.
* Provided an effective education environment and brought adequate interest in learning competencies.
* Given basic needs like nutrition food, clothing, sanitation, etc.
* Enabled them with vocational training like Tailoring, Motor winding, TV repair, etc.

Craft Skills in School

We emphasized the value of teaching children to make crafts. We had very different ideas about what literacy and education meant. We believed that literacy, which includes reading and writing, did not ensure that children would receive an education. Believed that education meant teaching a child how to make crafts from a young age.
The crafts which are generally taught are Pottery, Clay Modelling, Papier Mache, Mask Making, Tie & Dye, Rangoli, Wall decoration, Cane Work, Bamboo Work, Book Binding, Paper Toy making, etc

Krishna Janmashtami Festival

We celebrated Janmashtami with great pomp and show. A splendid performance depicting the birth of Lord Krishna and giving the message of victory of good over evil, was done. Children came dressed up as Radha and Krishna. A presentation depicted the varied images of life from birth to adulthood. The adorable ‘bal gopals’ played Raas Lila, threw light on the life of Shri Krishna through a speech and sang devotional poems on the occasion. The presentation was made with joyous melody and twirling dancers.
