Association for Poverty Eradication and Development
Association for Poverty Eradication and Development aims to eradicate poverty in Andhra Pradesh.
Association for Poverty Eradication and Development (APED) is a non-profit voluntary organization created in the 2015 aiming for poverty eradication and achieve the sustainable development of the poor communities who lack basic needs and rights and under exploitation, discrimination and violation of human rights. APED is working in Chittoor and border areas of Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh, India. The working area is a drought prone area, drought is a common phenomena persists years to gather affecting the lives of the people resulting migration in search of livelihoods. APED is working with the marginalized and vulnerable communities for advancement in education, health, economic and social status.

To adopt the down to top approach. We believe the people’s ideas and participation is a must for development.
Our Programs
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES
The activities are undertaken to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals such as No hunger, end poverty, safe water and sanitation, safe environment, decent livelihoods/employment, justice and peace, partnership with Govt, CSR, Funding agencies
COMMUNITY COUNSCIOUSENESS BUILDING
The awareness is build to understand the root cause of the poverty or backwardness and to make the manalyze the situation to seek solution by their own efforts by community approach. The consciousness is built on the health, education, economic, legal rights and social issues that the communities confronting the chronic poverty.
POVERTY ERADICATION
The poverty eradication programs are undertaken by empowering the poor communities on development process through awareness building and required skills trainings, credit facility, creating tangible assists and conservation of their living environment.

Distribution of teaching and Learning materials
APED distributed the teaching and learning materials to teachers and students respectively. Materials like like textbooks, notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers and other essentials things. This was of great help to the people.15-Aug-2022

Association for Poverty Eradication and Development (APED) conducted a program for women empowerment and skills development on our 75th National Independence day.

Tailoring training session
The young women were given tailoring training sessions for a course of 90 days to help in learning the technique in order to use it as an employment opportunity for themselves in the future.20-Sep-2020
