There are numerous Non-Governmental Organisation(NGOs) that are working on various developmental initiatives. Only a handful of them are savvy in showcasing their work. Majority of them lack a digital presence to exhibit the good work that they are doing and attract contribution. While NGOs understand the importance of a digital presence most do not have the bandwidth to create one.
1NGO is a voluntary initiative designed to create a digital presence for NGOs.
The objectives of 1NGO are:
1. Create a website with crisp content for the NGO
2. Keep the effort minimal for the NGOs
3. Attract potential donors and volunteers
NGOs can share their information in a template to 1NGO. Website will be up in 24 hours.
1NGO does not verify the authenticity of the NGO. All information on an organisation is based on self declaration. We strongly recommend that people who are interesting in donating or volunteering do their own due diligence
1NGO COVID-19 Response
A glimpse of our initiative in facilitating 1100 face shields and N-95 masks to various hospitals in Bengaluru, Belagavi, Gadag and Mysore. Health care workers are fighting for COVID-19 with insufficient personal protective equipment. There is a need for PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) kits to our healthcare workers for their protection in this #waraganistCOVID19. Taking into account of those issues. We facilitated the delivery of face shields as a part of PPE in many hospitals of Karnataka.
