About Us
Global Rural & Urban Development Organization
Global Rural & Urban Development Organization was established in 2006. Our organization is working for women empowerment in Davanagere and has been encouraging women by giving free Tailoring, Embroidery, Computer and Spoken English classes for women. Poor women & adolescent girls have been started their micro-enterprise in fashion designing and stitching the different types of blouses, zari work on sarees, and school children uniforms stitching. With this, they are earning 4500 Rupees per month as additional income for their family needs.

Our Programs
Help Women by Providing Tailoring Training
We always give respect to women and girls for their better and empower them. As part of our ongoing project, we concentrate on women empowerment programs to create sustainable livelihoods, build up self-confidence
SHG group formation program
We gave awareness to women through self-help groups and created SHG groups and help them to open a bank account. And gave training regarding earning money savings.
AIDS Awareness Camps
We organized AIDS awareness camps in rural and urban areas of Davangere. Help to raise awareness about the disease and forms of combating it to avoid social stigma and reduce anxiety among individuals in society.
