Enriching environment and livelihood enhancement of women in rural areas.

Institute for Rural Development predominantly focuses on sustainable environmental practices and improving the livelihood of women in rural areas through the formation of self-help groups and skill development training. Registered under the Karnataka Societies Act of 1960, we have also extended our activities to developing rural areas and centralizing the Panchayat Raj System and Local bodies for better governance. Our founder, Dr. Babu G. Sajjan is an expert in the field of implementing environmental programs, renewable energy, solid waste management, rural sanitation, and vermicomposting. Our collective initiatives have sustainably improved the environment and helped more than 2,000 women to be self-reliant.
