About Us
Shrirakshe Nagar Grameenabiruddi Seva Samsthe
Shrirakshe Nagar Grameenabiruddi Seva Samsthe is a nonprofit organization established in 2023 in Badri Village, Sandur Taluk, Karnataka. Our aim is to bring about mainstreaming and self-reliance among vulnerable women and children who are underprivileged. We started projects for the children aim to restart their education and encourage them to take up vocational training that will help them to earn a living. The projects for women are aimed at creating awareness of their rights and opportunities, and at achieving socio-economic empowerment.

Our vision is a world where disadvantaged women, vulnerable children, and communities have access to basic amenities, and are empowered to improve their quality of life.
OUR MISSION
We are dedicated to designing and implementing comprehensive programs through multi-needs based interventions that are scalable and replicable.
Our Programs
Education
Nowadays, rural families are aware of the importance of educating their children. Thus, few of them have started sending their children to educational institutes while some are ready to send their kids to school. However, the problem is in the lack of appropriate infrastructure facilities in rural schools. Around 45 to 50% of the rural schools that is government sponsored are blessed with electricity and water connections. On the other hand, few of the rural schools for development is still dreaming about having qualified teachers who are accessible to various teaching aids and know how to use a computer. Interacted with government school children of Sandur Taluk. More than 30 children participated in this program.

Health Care
Srirakshe is dedicated to improving health outcomes by providing access to essential healthcare services in underserved communities. Through partnerships with local clinics and healthcare professionals, they offer free screenings, treatments, and health education programs. Their initiatives focus on preventive care, disease management, and promoting healthy lifestyles to empower individuals to take control of their well-being. aims to create sustainable health solutions and improve the overall quality of life for vulnerable populations.
Our Activities

Health Camps
We have organized a health check-up camp in Gollarahatti village of Bellary in collaboration with Smoire Health Centre. The initiative offered comprehensive health services including regular check-ups, vaccinations and treatments for common ailments. We provide these services at no cost, the program aims to improve overall health outcomes and reduce disparities in health care within the region. This program seeks to create a healthier and more resilient community in Bellary. Its success lies in its commitment to address the health care needs of all citizens, promote wellness and enhance quality of life.08-Mar-2023
International Women’s Day - 2023
International Women’s Day is celebrated on 8 March every year with an aim to honor the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women across the globe. This day is celebrated to raise awareness about the challenges faced by women in their day-to-day life. This day aims to emphasize the importance of achieving gender equality, women's rights and women empowerment. We celebrated with our team members and SHG Members.10-Feb-2023

Health Awareness Program
Health Awareness and Assistance Centre is an initiative to undertake public healthcare through community-based activities, research, awareness, assistance, and other related activities in Bommagatta Village, Sandur Taluk, Bommagatta . Our small-scale grassroots level health projects work to improve health outcomes in a wide range of areas through community education and applied research. We are committed to preventive healthcare, ending preventable child and maternal deaths, promoting the intake of nutritious food, and protecting communities from infectious diseases.02-Apr-2022
