The role of a woman in our society is bound to the four walls of the house. She is defined by her expertise in doing household chores. Her skills are underestimated when she tries to earn a living.

At Sneha Social Service Society we believe that women too can equally contribute to the economic development of our country. Sneha was founded in the year 2000 in the Palladam Block of Tirupur District. For the past 22 years, our efforts are channelized to bring economic empowerment among local women. While bringing economic empowerment we have also realized that educating women and girls are equally important. We also educate young girls and women and, try to create awareness among them of the importance of education. To date, we have reached out to more than 1000 women and shown them a path to self-dependency. We operate in the Coimbatore, Tirupur, and Dindigul districts of Tamil Nadu.
